The Collin County Citizens for Integrity PAC conducted a poll of voters in McKinney, Texas. Results show significant concern regarding city leadership. 681 voters completed all eight survey questions. Our survey had a superior participation rate compared to the latest City of McKinney poll conducted in 2023, where just 466 completions were recorded (per open records request).
· Mayor is unpopular (below water) at just 17% favorable.
· 65% of voters do not feel the mayor/council “represents” them.
· The majority feel that the city is on the “wrong track” and supports term limits.
· Voters concerned about traffic (congestion), too many apartments, and loss of “green space.”
Participants were selected based on voter data of those most likely to participate in elections regardless of party affiliation. Of those within the voter pool, 3,148 opened the emailed survey. 890 started the survey and 703 completed the survey (22.33% completion rate). Of the eight questions, the lowest participation was 681 (green space question) and therefore the overall completion of all 8 questions remains at 681, although the scored completion of finished surveys is 703, demonstrating that some participants selected not to answer all eight questions, but still completed the survey by “submitting” via the online survey tool button
